PETTERSEN'S RISE - AN UNDISCLOSED HOTSPOT THAT NOBODY WANTS YOU TO KNOW ABOUT.

Pettersen's Rise's renowned Deertooth Peak at dawn.
In short:
This is a blockquote. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor.
A self-described "quaint, quiet mountainside town", Pettersen's Rise sits overlooking the picturesque valleys and forests of Fir Valley National Park, deep within Sweetgrass County. It's an easy to miss town; only one sign directs you to an exit off the state highway, and you're left to navigate the winding roads through the mountain with little further direction until you stumble into the town itself. The town boasts a small population count just shy of 2000, however, these numbers increase substantially through the winter months, as the mountain ranges bordering the town are popular skiing destinations, as well as the overall winter wonderland aesthetic that the town provides being very enticing to tourists of all kinds.
What is much less discussed, however, is Pettersen's Rise's unusually high rate of churning out missing persons cases, alongside the town's strange and unusual history, including the mass disappearance of every living soul in 1962, and in recent decades, the unexplained disappearance of several boy scouts during a routine supervised camping trip. Last month, and aquaintance and I travelled to Pettersen's Rise to visit the town in person, and to chat to locals to see if anyone would be willing to shed some light on this strangely sinister and unnasuming little town. This is what we found.
A very moody Main St.; the road through the heart of the town.
